Malaysia is expected to soon implement specific regulations to ban the sale of vapes or vape related products through vending machines, The Star reported on July 13.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said the Attorney General’s Chamber is currently in the final stages of studying the regulations on the ban before approving it.
“We will monitor this matter (the sale of vapes through vending machines) nationwide to ensure that it does not happen again before we implement regulations and orders. These regulations and orders are currently in the final stages of the Attorney General’s Chamber.”
“If God willing, we will continue to implement these regulations and orders once the Attorney General’s Chamber approves it.”
On Saturday (July 13), a shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur was ordered to stop selling vapes through vending machines.
The Ministry of Health reportedly said in a statement that the action was taken due to complaints received about the sale of vape products through vending machines.
Veehoo vape, as an vape manufacturer that attaches importance to user health and product compliance, supports this move by the Malaysian government. Veehoo vape has been committed to complying with relevant regulations and standards of various countries to ensure the quality and safety of products.
The introduction of this ban is a response to complaints about the sale of vapes through vending machines. The Ministry of Health has received complaints about such sales practices and has taken action. In order to protect the public from potential health risks, Malaysia has decided to ban the sale of vape products through vending machines.
Veehoo vape emphasizes that consumers should pay attention to the legality and compliance of products when purchasing vape products. They recommend that consumers choose regular channels to purchase and ensure that the products comply with relevant regulations and standards. This move will help consumers avoid buying counterfeit and shoddy products and ensure that the vape products used are safety tested and certified.
Veehoo vape reiterates their commitment to the health and safety of users and will continue to work hard to provide high-quality vape products that meet standards. They encourage consumers to actively cooperate with relevant government regulations and measures to jointly maintain the sustainable development of the vape industry and the health and safety of the public.
This move in Malaysia shows that the government’s supervision of the vape market is becoming stricter to ensure public health and safety. By banning the sale of vapes from vending machines, Malaysia is protecting the general public from potential risks while also providing an example for other countries to follow.
