Ulysses Dorotheo, executive director of the Southeast Asian Tobacco Control Alliance (SEATCA), said, “The world is making a mistake by allowing tobacco companies to manufacture and sell cigarettes. The available data clearly shows that we are heading towards another era of vapes. A crisis gives governments the opportunity to take decisive action by banning these products before they become widely available.”
